Ambassador Committee (Heather Jennings)
Represents the Chamber at various organizational and community events; reaches out to Chamber members to offer assistance; recognizes long-term members; and plans and runs the Chamber's networking events. Call Heather at 352-373-9744 for meeting times.

Business & Industry (Phillis Rosier)
Maintain an active retention and expansion program by utilizing available tools such as surveys, seminars, and other forms of information distribution; improve quality of labor force; plan and host Annual Business Appreciation program. Call Phillis at 964-4701 for meetings times.

Business Services Committee
Develops new membership perks, facilitates the soup and salad seminars and reviews member to member offers made to the chamber membership prior to implementing. Meets as needed.

Board of Governors (Jeff Oody)
The policy-making authority of the organization rests with the Board of Governors. Fourth Thursday - 12:00 p.m. call for meeting location 904-964-5278.

Budget & Finance (Doug Reddish)
Develops and oversees the financial plans of the organization; reviews the preparation of the annual budget; and seeks sources of non-dues revenue and grant funding. Meets as needed.

Education Committee (Lila Sellars)
Continues to improve the Chamber's Teacher Recruitment Initiative; supports the Chamber Foundation activities and programs; recognizes the contributions of the business community to education through the Chamber's Pinnacle Award; and promotes the "Character Counts on the Bus" program. As needed - Chamber.

Leadership Tri-County Area
Provides local leadership with a comprehensive review of the community and builds a network of informed community advocates. First Wednesday - 5:00 p.m., Chamber.

Long Range Planning
Updates the Chamber’s 5-year strategic plan. Meets as needed.

Minority Affairs Council
Expand assistance to small and minority-owned businesses.

Nominating Committee (Jeff Oody)
Nominates persons for positions on the Chamber Board of Directors and for the officer positions of President, President Elect and Treasurer. Meets as needed.

Presidents' Club (Jeff Oody)
Past-Presidents meet to share their expertise with the current Chamber leadership. Meets quarterly.
